Abstract

This paper shows a computational program in BASIC language developed for the analysis of genotype x environment interaction (stability parameters) using the multiplicative model. A genotype and environment fixed effects model was considered, because it is one of the most commonly used. The Satterthwaite approximate tests were used to know the genotype and environment effects described by Cruz (1990). The linear genotype x environment interaction test was replaced by the Tai (1971) exact test of the multiplicative model. The test proposed by Cruz (1990) was used to know the significance of the regression deviations. This test is based on the residuals covariance matrix (uij=Yij-Yi -Y.j-Y..). The program structure and operation, with a numerical example, is included.
