EVALUATION OF HYBRIDS OF 3 SORGHUM LINES FOR GRAIN
Main Article Content
Abstract
Three-way and single cross grain sorghum hybrids were tested in two environments. The average behavior of their
females (A x B non isogenic lines and A lines) with two common R lines and viceversa was measured. Yield and other characteristics were analysed and no difference was found between hybrids females or males, as a general tendency, except in blooming. As a conclusion, we must say that the Ax B different crosses must be better studied to define the stability of their hybrids in urder to consider another more economical system of seed production.
