GENETIC INFORMATION DERIVED USING THE GARDNER EBERHART MODEL FOR GENERATIONAL AVERAGES

Abstract

Mexico is rich in natural and human resources. There is no country that has more valuable plant genetic resources than Mexico, particularly in corn and beans, and even in other crops. My great interest in the corn germplasm of this country originated in the early sixties. In fact, the work described in this article was generated by this interest and two of my first articles were translated into Spanish (1965-1966).
