CARRETA 145: NEW VARIETY OF IRRIGATIOND CHICKPEA FOR THE CENTER AND SOUTH OF GUANAJUATO
Main Article Content
Abstract
In the State of Guanajuato, about 60,000 hectares of chickpeas are harvested under conditions of residual humidity and about 10,000 hectares in irrigated areas, with average yields of 800 and 1,200 kg/ha, respectively. In both cases, one of the main limitations of production is the susceptibility to root rot that commercial varieties show.
