DIFFERENTIATION AND OBTAINING PLANTS FROM THE CULTIVATION OF BUDS OF Rosa montezumae
Main Article Content
Abstract
Rosa montezumae buds of 5 mm length were cultured in vitro using the Cresswell and Nitsch culture medium that contains a single auxin, indole-3, butyric acid (IBA); The cytocultures were incubated under dark and light conditions. Root induction was due to the presence of AIB and stimulated by darkness. Transfer to light buds previously rooted in the dark caused foliar expansion and finally well-differentiated plants were obtained.
