PHYSIOTECHNICS IN THE CAREER OF AGRONOMIC ENGINEER PHYTOTECHNICIAN FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF GUADALAJARA

Abstract

The Faculty of Agronomy of the University of Guadalajara launched its new study plan in 1988, through semesters, adding new subjects to the curriculum. The subjects taught are Agricultural Engineer, Administrator of Agricultural Businesses, I. A. Forestry, I. A. Zootechnician, and I. A. Phytotechnician. The new study plan includes four semesters of a common core, where students take general subjects, and in the fifth semester they select the specialty. In the Physiotechnical Agricultural Engineer degree, the subject of Physiotechnics is taken in the eighth semester. The semesters run from March to July and from September to January, so it will be in the second semester of 1991 when the first course of this subject begins in the new study plan of the Faculty of Agronomy. Currently the person responsible for the matter is the M.C. Salvador Hurtado de la Peña. The subject has a workload of 4 hours per week and will be taken by 11 students.
