The authors who publish in Revista Fitotecnia Mexicana accept the following conditions:
In accordance with copyright laws, Revista Fitotecnia Mexicana recognizes and respects the authors’ moral right and ownership of property rights which will be transferred to the journal for dissemination in open access.
All the texts published by Revista Fitotecnia Mexicana–with no exception– are distributed under a Creative Commons License Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0), which allows third parties to use the publication as long as the work’s authorship and its first publication in this journal are mentioned
The author(s) can enter into independent and additional contractual agreements for the nonexclusive distribution of the version of the article published in Revista Fitotecnia Mexicana(for example, include it into an institutional repository or publish it in a book) as long as it is clearly and explicitly indicated that the work was published for the first time in Revista Fitotecnia Mexicana.
For all the above, the authors shall send the form of Letter-transfer of Property Rights for the first publication duly filled in and signed by the author(s). This form must be sent as a PDF file to: [email protected]

CUOTAS DE RECEPCIÓN EN LA REVISTA FITOTECNIA MEXICANA,
órgano de difusión científica de la Sociedad Mexicana de Fitogenética |
Las cuotas vigentes fueron aprobadas por el Comité Directivo Nacional de la SOMEFI 2025 - 2026, para ser aplicadas a partir de enero 17, 2025. Por cada manuscrito se aplican cuotas de dos tipos: de Recepción y de Derechos de Publicación.
Cualquier investigador interesado podrá enviar un manuscrito para ser considerado para publicación a la Revista Fitotecnia Mexicana. Los socios vigentes de la Sociedad Mexicana de Fitogenética están exentos de este pago. En los manuscritos donde el primer autor o el autor responsable no sean socios activos de Sociedad, se deberá pagar la Cuota de Recepción de $ 1000 (mil pesos mexicanos).
