THE TEACHING OF PLANT PHYSIOTECHNICS IN THE POSTGRADUATE COLLEGE AND IN THE CHAPINGO AUTONOMOUS UNIVERSITY
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Plant Physiotechnics course emerged at the Postgraduate College during the 70's due to the need to impart new knowledge and approaches in the study plans of higher agricultural education institutions and in the form when agricultural research was carried out in the country. In these twenty years, the content of that course has been enriched through the personal and group contributions of the academics who have entered the Physiotechnics Area of the Genetics Center, as well as incorporating the results of the physiotechnical research carried out in the country, in addition to those collected in national and international scientific literature. As a result of the evolution of Plant Physiotechnics, the Genetics Center currently offers two complementary courses: Advanced Plant Physiotechnics and Micrometeorology Applied to Production and Plant Breeding. This document presents aspects related to the justification, objectives, themes and projection of the Plant Physiotechnics course, to later indicate the thematic content of the two additional courses.
